After finishing up our flights at Deadly Sins we headed over to The Bear and Peacock. The Bear and Peacock is unique because it is a Brewstillery. Meaning they brew beer and distill different spirits in the same location.

You are able to purchase and consume beer in their taproom, however you are only able to purchase their spirits to go. They aren’t able to make you any cocktails while visiting.

If you are interested in their brewing/distilling process they offer tours regularly. Checkout Groupon where they regularly offer discounts. I was able to take a tour for a friends’ birthday recently and enjoyed learning a little bit more about their brewing and distilling process.

Be warned though! The tour ends with several samples of their various spirits. I left feeling pretty good.

On this visit we decided to sit inside at their taproom because it was so hot out. They do have a nice outdoor area with plenty of bench seating which is enjoyable during the cooler months or if you visit at night.

One thing I notice every time while visiting The Bear and Peacock is that the prices on their beer tends to be a bit higher than other breweries in their area. When we visited this time, all of their beers were at least $7.

I was looking to order something I haven’t yet tried, so I went with Amber ALErt which is a pretty standard Amber Ale. We weren’t hungry during our visit, but there is a small food menu. I saw someone order their cheese plate and it looked very tasty.
